Batik motifs aid in the development of religious, nationalist, integrity, independence, and cooperative characteristics. Batik is used in education for both practical and theoretical learning. Both of these techniques work together to promote students' character formation. Integration into teaching is done through the BMR (Riau Malay Culture) book and batik practice among students.
